Dubbed theLAB Berkeley, Bolt Threads' project involved repositioning an existing industrial complex for a blend of uses including creative offices, light manufacturing, and life science labs and R&D facilities. The new finished space features signature exposed bow-truss ceilings, offices, an Amphitheater LAB, Presentation LAB and other bespoke facilities. The building also offers cutting-edge amenities including a boutique fitness center, an expansive indoor-outdoor private mezzanine overlooking the San Francisco Bay, an outdoor collaborative area and a second floor roof deck.
