The goal of this project is to identify a new social structure and architectural typology to destigmatize homelessness. First, the program is designed to address the individualized needs of the homeless community. It is designed as a participatory environment bridging the gap between the homeless and neighborhood residents. The Masterplan integrates architecture, urban design, and policy planning. As a second aim, this project examines regenerative architectural solutions that utilize mycelium as a building material to create ephemeral housing structures. Each module is grown for five days.
