For my Studio class, we were asked to create showrooms displaying innovative materials. Here is my showroom for Swedish company Nordgrona, known for their products from preserved reindeer moss. My aim was to make a lasting impression by designing the showroom largely from the material itself. I wanted to have its components feel as if they were born within a whimsical Scandinavian landscape, playing off of rolling hill forms in Sweden. “Welcome to the great indoors,” reads Nordgrona’s site. In my fantastical interpretation of that saying, I hope to enchant and inspire anyone who sees it.
