Entry Description

Our eco-conscious design for 1 Hotel Haitang Bay takes cues from the beauty of Hainan, its cultural backdrop, and the sustainability principles of the 1 Hotels brand. Well-shaded structures, semi-open spaces, artisanal use of local materials and biodiverse landscaped gardens are key architectural features. Green measures reduce the environmental impact of development, such as rainwater harvesting, greywater treatment and reuse, and solar thermal heating. The result is a relaxed, comfortable, imaginative, and contemporary environment that confidently expresses the DNA of the 1 Hotels brand.
