I have always been captivated by sacred architecture and places of worship. The opportunity to design a place for the spirit was an opportunity I jumped at immediately. By creating a place for students of all faiths to gather, I hoped to encourage a sense of belonging and understanding among them. It would provide a safe environment for exchange, conversation, and interaction. A place in inclusivity and tolerance. The structural expression of the steel columns drives this space. Since childhood, I have always found solace and comfort in being under the canopy of trees.
