Entry Description

Ministry were engaged after a devastating fire tore through the heart of the school in 2019. We then undertook design workshops with the client and school to refine the project brief and understand the school's pedagogical aspirations. A new masterplan was prepared, we designed temporary accommodation, and acted as the lead design consultant for the new Multipurpose Space (MPS).

Located at the entry to the school the MPS presents a strong public face. It is designed as an open pavilion for performances, recreation, assembly, bathrooms and whare kai, the space is truly multi-purpose.
