Entry Description

Build A Sustainable Tradition
The creation comes from the interpretation of Lingnan lion dancing culture. By abstracting its muscles, bones, and spirit, the design combines contemporary materials (stainless steel) with the transparent visual effect, displaying an unusual lion head image. Lion Dance has an amazingly large scale. The semi-transparent lion head woven by metal appears extremely restrained, like a blurred watermark in a specific city corner. The sensitivity of this public art towards the operations of forms and contemporary translation are unique.
