Entry Description

The conflict between beauty and violence are the forces that inspire the concept for this necklace. The lessons about overcoming sadness and difficult moments are trascended and as a result a gorgeous butterfly is created.
The transformation of narrative is embodied in the necklace through the butterfly design. Butterflies are a symbol of change and metamorphosis.
The necklace aims to transmit the change and creation of something beautiful that comes from a hostile, sad, and broken origin.

Bio

My work is based on self-introspection and emotional connection, having a strong relationship with experiences.
I use jewelry to create a poetic dialogue between material, body, and the meaningful story behind the piece. I explore compositions that activate the wearer's senses, with smells, haptic experiences, or engaging sounds by the user's movement.
In this way my jewelry becomes whimsical, it brings magic to our daily life as it connects body and spirituality, an essential union to life.
