Yee On Red Packet

Yee On is a Traditional Chinese Medical clinic in Central, Hong Kong. They have been contributing to the society for a long time, providing all kinds of Chinese medical services. The red packets is inspired by the Chinese Medical scale. We mimicked the Chinese word “福”, lucky, from the scale, symbolising a unique wishing from the Yee On. The graphic is then specially printed to create a felt effect, giving a heartfelt feeling to receivers. We chose burgundy colour paper symbolising the qi and blood, "氣血", the most important element to create a living being.

Malou is an international award-winning branding designer based in Hong Kong. She started THE CABINET design studio since 2005 where she has worked for more than 200 international and local projects with over 130 clients such as, Standard Chartered, Cathay Pacific, Ralph Lauren, Sheraton, KEF, Nan Fung Group, The "Star" Ferry, Chubb, Starbucks... She connects people through design. She is PolyU Design Young Design Alumna of the Year 2024 in Entrepreneurial Achievement and Associate Member of the Outstanding PolyU Alumni Association. She won 120+ local and international design awards.
