Nicholas House: A Home in Nature transforms a long-standing family shelter in Atlanta’s Grant Park into a trauma-informed, biophilic environment for long-term living. Embracing the site’s natural slope, the redesign connects residents and staff through courtyards, terraces, and a cantilevered addition that balances visibility, safety, and dignity—turning a once-isolated building into a restorative landscape for healing and community.
