The project transforms a metro station into a “composite urban living room.” Drawing from Lingnan’s commercial heritage—the region south of the Nanling Mountains—the design translates local elements like Qilou arcades and Cantonese embroidery into a modern spatial language, creating cultural encounters that invite discovery at every step. Its streamlined roof, shaped through parametric building information modeling, echoes Baiyun Mountain’s layered greenery. Complementing this, a six-tier stepped terrace achieves a 75% vegetative cover. Here, people, urban life, and nature merge seamlessly.
