This Project transforms rainwater runoff into an opportunity. Instead of flooding pathways or disappearing underground, stormwater is captured and managed through a network of beautiful, educational, and sustainable spaces across the campus. Guided by the principle “What falls in McMaster, stays in McMaster,” the pilot sites slow, filter, and reuse runoff while offering students and visitors places to learn, gather, and connect with nature. By integrating ecological design with community engagement, the project makes stormwater management a visible and inspiring feature of a resilient campus.
