Originally designed by famed architect Noel Robinson in 1976, the unique structure manufactured entirely of concrete, glass and steel was a brutalist post modern endeavour and winner of RAIA citation for meritorious architecture in 1978. We were fortunately handed original drawings and were able to commence a significant restoration and remodel to infuse practicality for today’s living requirements whilst always sympathetically referring to the original architectural intent and utilising materials of the period such as hand made terrazzo, glass blocks and a significant nod to biophilic design.
