This collection captures daily life on the old streets of Beijing, presenting scenes and characters through the lens of a film. Inspired by my childhood memories and personal photography, it explores the intersection of ancient traditions and contemporary lifestyles in China. Prints and silhouettes reflect the collision of historical architecture and modern urban culture. Combining materials like Chinese silk, cotton, and faux leather, I reinterpreted classic textiles for modern designs. YANXIA seeks to redefine Western perceptions of China, showcasing a fresh image of contemporary culture.
