Entry Description

The project is an expansion of the existing primary school on the west of the site. The main problems to be solved are the spatial relationship, the spatial scale and richness, as well as the continuation and breakthrough of the façade style.
The design adopted the simple but effective strategy of “retreating platform”, falling from north to south layer by layer, forming a rich sense of hierarchy and rhythm, and creating a large platform on each level to make up for the outdoor activity space. At the same time, the spatial structure and the façade continued the style of the existing building.
