We redesigned Studio B for Royal Caribbean Group’s Oasis of the Seas, with the goal to make it a space that would draw in Gen Z cruisers. Our research found that Gen Z travels for cultural immersion, and they seek out luxurious and Instagrammable experiences. With this research in mind, we designed a high-tech cultural immersion center with an exclusive supper club underneath to bring offshore excursions onto the ship. Our concept is Golden Hour, the time of day right after sunrise and before sunset (and, as Gen Z knows it, a notoriously good time for taking photos!).
