Entry Description

As a display building for Huang Yongyu's artworks, the Museum extends and reconstructs his painting technique in the design, hoping to echo and inherit.

The ink in Huang's lotus painting as the initial prototype, we reorganizes it into a functional exhibition hall plane. The continuous sloping roof echoes the mountain, creating a series of exhibition spaces with different scales.

Considering the humidity and landslide risk, the museum intervenes into the mountain like a stilt house

The main material is recycled concrete, which reduces carbon emissions, embodies the concept of green building
