In the project,designer works closely with craftsmen to complete the On-site design and construction work. The whole process is like Chinese calligraphy and freehand painting, generating imagery where the brushstrokes become marks and cannot be altered. The park shows the art of lines and the lightness of structure as well. “Flying” is the main image inspired by Dunhuang frescoes, which expresses the beauty of freedom and elegance. The multi-use space formed by the construction not only be an open-air art museum but also an outdoor theater, a stage for small-scale concerts, plays,and dances.
