Entry Description

PulpaTronics develops more sustainable radio-frequency identification tags. RFID tags are electronic circuits embedded in items for identification through radio signals. PulpaTronics creates paper-only RFID tags with no metal antenna or microchip required, eliminating metal mining, streamlining manufacturing and reducing environmental impact. These tags are recyclable and cheaper than current tags. By making RFID tags more accessible, PulpaTronics helps retailers achieve their sustainability goals, while allowing customers to confidently dispose of RFID tags and make more conscious decisions.
