Entry Description

Wan Chai Recycling Station (WCRS) is equipped with an office, a multi-purpose room, a recyclables repository and other ancillary facilities, which aspires to become a focal point for environmental education and recycling support in the local community of Wan Chai District.

The winning scheme of the public design idea competition was adopted as the design idea for the WCRS. The winner was invited to collaborate with the Architectural Services Department to implement the design of the WCRS and was engaged in the design process during the design and construction of the WCRS.
