The Nest Cafe is a warm and contemporary conceptual pop-up cafe in collaboration with Sydney Festival. It is in high contrast to the industrial host of Carriageworks. My design is inspired by Kengo Kuma, with innovative use of natural sustainable materials and organic curved shapes.
The concept of Nest links the architecture with the natural world, in the shape of a nest. The word 'Nest' evokes a warm, calm and homely feeling. In my cafe, you can choose to sip and read among the interesting books or enjoy an outdoor experience.
Nest Cafe, it’s a place where you belong.
