TAXI Station

Grabbing the attention beneath the urban fabric, TAXI station is designed in an iconic way that uses graphic elements both visually and structurally at the same time. The station communicates with urban people perceptually and stands out as almost as a signage. Design uses a universal language and symbolizes ''taxi'' metaphor to a public station. With a modern and dynamic identity that suits contemporary urban life, the characterized building adapts to physical conditions with two different size options.

System uses steel profiles for construction and signage. Led lighting is provided inside these parts for night use. TAXI fits modern architecture and buildings and adds to city image. Covered with plants in vertically and horizontally, it also provides an advertisement space for expenditures. Design offers a comfortable and safe zone for both users and visitors. It includes a waiting lounge, office space, personal cabins for drivers, lavatory, changing room, storage area, kitchen and resting area. Electrical and lighting systems are assembled within the installation floor, which is hidden, between ceiling and the roof, therefore preventing visual pollution. System also collects rainwater and uses it for system's water consumption.
