Lumen Quartz is a museum and cultural center in Dahlonega, Georgia, inspired by the city’s gold rush legacy and the crystalline form of quartz. Designed as a luminous hub, it bridges history, geology, and community through light-filled pathways, cascading water stairs, and quartz-lined spaces. The project fosters local craft, supports artisans, and uses water reuse and minimal land impact. Flexible halls, workshops, and cultural spaces ensure adaptability, discovery, education, and lasting community connection.
