This project redesigns conventional lunch boxes to address sustainability and usability issues. The team identified key problems including petroleum-based plastic materials, poor leak-proofing, difficult cleaning, and limited recyclability. Their comprehensive solution features a modular system using biodegradable PHA containers and 100% recycled glass, Lego-style snap-fit connections for easy assembly, ocean plastic felt carrying cases, and smart digital features including AI food tracking and expiration alerts. The design achieves 100% performance improvement in LCA analysis.
