This counselling center transforms a narrow, elongated site into a space of warmth, safety and flow. Guided by the concepts of light and shadow, breeze, and wood’s natural warmth, the design replaces sharp corners with soft curves to create inclusivity and ease. Inspired by the city’s history of camphor trade and coastal winds, wood tones, fluid lines and shifting daylight shape an interior that feels like a forest glade. Accessible circulation, calming colors, and sustainable materials ensure comfort, privacy, and environmental care, offering visitors a healing atmosphere beyond function.
