Entry Description

Museum of Ma is an immersive all-day destination featuring two experiences: a Studio Ghibli Moving Image Museum and a Wellness Spa shown in this project and video. It offers guests space to emotionally decompress and connect with Japanese culture in response to rising discrimination against Asian communities. Using the concept of “Ma” from Studio Ghibli films, the project creates an experience that transcends traditional cinema viewing. Ma (the space between) is a moment of pause between actions. These intentional pauses give viewers time to breathe, reflect, and fully connect around them.
