Entry Description

The spatial design of the lnternational Division at Qianhai Taikang Hospital in Shenzhen emphasizes efficient circulation, privacy,emotional comfort, warm lighting, spatial compression to avoid emptiness, soft material transitions,rich colors, and transformindinstitutional environments into everyday life scenes.
Rooted in the concept of an “art hospital, the desian integrates color, light, texture, and installations to create a multi-sensoryenvironment that offers emotional support. Art is not decoration-it becomes part of the healing experience, helping patients feelgrounded and connected.
