Architecturaldesignstartswith2Dplans—canform-driventhinkingtranscendfunction?AJapan-basedprojectbyChinesestudentstransformedaregulatoryreviewgapintoanopportunity.Wecreatedaspatialinstallationblendinglayoutandart,allowingstudentsdirectsiteengagement.Functions(exhibition,living,stairs)wereabstractedintorectangles/squares.Overlapsgeneratecirculation,courtyards,oratriums;adjacentblocksformfunctionalpairs.Screwsupportedlayersalignwithcolumngrids,anchoringdesigninbuildability.Thismethodproducedinnovativespatialprototypes tobuilt on-site,bridgingdesignexplorationandrealarchitecture.
