Entry Description

Sculpted Body by Kyungah Jo reimagines clothing as a sculptural extension of the body through experimental pattern cutting and spiral forms. Crafted from deadstock and reclaimed materials, the collection embraces sustainability while allowing for inclusive, fluid shapes. By treating leather and textiles as sculptural mediums, Jo challenges traditional garment-making and invites a new, more intimate way of relating to clothing.

Bio

I transform industrial and sculptural inspirations into tactile, functional womenswear through experimental pattern cutting and fluid draping in leather, wool, and jersey. With a strong foundation in construction, fit, and finishing, my work bridges conceptual design and technical execution. I explore form through innovative cutting and sustainable material use, creating garments that respond intuitively to the body while maintaining precision and wearability.
