ALCOVE is a seating system conceived to support work in a 'desk-less' environment. The transformation of work environments requires innovative concepts of furniture. Starting from analyzing patterns of individual and collaborative work, ALCOVE is designed to provide a private 'cocoon' of space, and updated in its ergonomic support. It is conceived for working without a desk, either individually - in an office or at home - or in a collaborative environment. Some variations are also optimized for waiting spaces, like hospital or hotel waiting areas.
