The Yale Peabody Museum revitalization is a complete renovation and re-installation of the iconic Museum honoring its great heritage. With more than 40,000 sf and 23 galleries, the design creates an invigorated new experience. Visitors encounter collections as sculptural objects, interacting with a sense of curious discovery as they travel through the spaces. The galleries foster connections between students, faculty, and visitors, in the spirit of the original museum, showcasing science research and spectacular collections. The design is conceived to be ready for new ideas and objects.
