Entry Description

Rooted in Daren, Taitung, the Tjuabar Village Community Center reinterprets Paiwan heritage through resilient, climate-adapted architecture. Flexible spaces support shifting needs, while abstracted totems, passive cooling, and local materials embed culture, memory, and sustainability. More than a building, it is a community platform where tradition, environment, and Indigenous identity converge.
