Entry Description

Samarkand collection is inspired by a basic star pattern found in the buildings from Timurid period in Samarkand, the capital of Timurid Empire (1507-1370 bades in Persia), The pattern is one of the most familiar geometric patterns used in Persian architecture during the Islamic era.
This collection was created by the idea of folding and deforming this star pattern with a special look at the origami inspired folding structures.
