The "foresting architecture" is a rest area for the Osaka-Kansai Expo, 3D-printed on-site using biodegradable plant-based resin and finished with handmade paper by children, embedded with seeds of local grasses and trees. It gradually sprouted and grew during the Expo. Recognized by Guinness World Records™ as the "Largest 3D-Printed biodegradable building (monolithic)", this regenerative temporary architecture was designed not only to be built and maintained during use, but also to return to the soil and become a forest after its life.
