Entry Description

THEIA is a wearable tech empowering the visually impaired (20M+ population in the US) with safe, independent mobility. Addressing the “last 10 feet” challenge that navigation apps and white canes can't resolve, it uses AI to analyze camera input and guide users via audio and haptic feedback—like a pair of hands on their shoulders giving directions. With minimal learning curve, it integrates smoothly into users’ daily life. THEIA’s app also connects users to a support network of caregivers and volunteers alongside AI. It ultimately helps visually impaired achieve independent mobility.
