This proposal transforms the top floor of an industrial building into a vibrant food court through adaptive reuse. The design features an organic, cave-like ceiling crafted using parametric design, which follows the rhythm of the original column grid. A central skylight brings natural light into the space, enhancing its ambiance and creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow. By integrating the new ceiling with the existing structure, the design preserves the building’s industrial character while introducing a contemporary aesthetic, fostering an engaging spatial experience.
