Vela is an innovative electric vaginal speculum designed to improve the comfort and accessibility of gynecological exams. Traditional bivalve speculums often cause discomfort due to their lever-type opening mechanism, leading to pain and a sense of shame for many patients. Vela addresses these issues with a parallel opening design that distributes pressure evenly, reducing the risk of tearing and associated pain.
