Headed by Montfort Care, Goodlife Studio (Bukit Purmei) is an active aging centre located in a void deck of a public housing block. Departing from conventional gated centres, the centre is fitted with full-height glass doors that blur the boundaries between the interior and exterior. Paired with bright solid hues that infuse liveliness into the space, the centre challenges the stigma of aging, while introducing a new model for active aging. Through thoughtful design coupled with purposeful programming; the centre helps to empower individuals to age gracefully within their communities.
