Entry Description

Gongqing Forest Park, formerly a nursery garden on Huangpu River, was transformed and upgraded to a forest park in 1982. The luxuriantly green Gongqing Forest Park is not only an oasis of Shanghai, but also a paradise of entertainers. As people’s cultural and entertainment life needs and the appreciation levels of plant landscape are increasingly improved, forest resources and recreational facilities can no longer satisfy expectations of the public.
