Entry Description

Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, has long faced a number of environmental and socialproblems, one of which is the presence of a large number of illegal brick kilns. Theseillegal brick kilns not only pollute the environment, but also deprive workers' rights andinterests, leading to increased poverty and inequality. However, in recent years, the gov-ernment has taken positive initiatives to try to convert these abandoned brick kilns intosustainable resources and create more opportunities for local communities.
