Hemvist is a staircase collection whose construction is based on mortise and tenon joints; traditional craftsmanship in the furniture industry. Due to its construction individual steps can be replaced the day they wear out - which is a major innovation in the global stair case industry. In addition, both glue and screws are excluded. Instead wood is used, which in itself reduces carbon dioxide emissions in connection with production.
The collection includes a limited edition furnitures made out of leftover materials from the production - manufactured using the same technology as the stair.
