Lives are mortal and all comes to an end. This piece was inspired by the finite of life; the exhaustion of the fiery flame we call youth. Youth brings a sense of freedom to one’s mind; yet we find ourselves trapped, while yearning for more. This internal cry is what inspired this two piece suit, embodying the flames we possess, connecting the two contrasting pieces to represent the movement of the fire. This piece conveys the intuitive burning sensation to the max, by development of diverse materials, such as stacking different materials, self-burnt cotton and silk, on top of the flame-print.
