In my mind there are endless interpretations: folk-fashion-inspired real fashion is something you would wear walking in the periphery – on the narrow village paths or… The Estonian nature and the changing seasons have been “woven” into patterns and colours. The ideas for patterns and cuts have been derived from traditional handicraft. Headwear as a distinctive feature of the village society offers various ways of interpretation also today. The collection is a cross-pollination – ideas from the past and the present have merged and created a new life.
