I used silk-screen printing to carve the outline of each family member and printed it with temperature-changing inks that develop different colours at different temperatures to express the subtle relationship and changes between family affection and blood relationship.
I printed every family member’s face on the translucent fabric, so that the family’s different facial expressions, ages, and social identities overlap. Similar facial contours gradually appear as the temperature changes, representing different appearances and identities, which have a certain connection.
