Delphi Hotel, Hangzhou

Located in Hangzhou’s Qianjiang CBD, once tidal mudflats and fishponds, Delphi Hotel reflects the city’s transformation. Inspired by the Qiantang River’s tidal rhythm, the design embraces contrast: fluid yet structured, bold yet composed. Interiors express this duality through skyscraper’s exposed metal structure, layered materials, and spatial rhythms. References to geography and tides appear as patterns of flow and texture. From public spaces to guestrooms, every area contributes to a narrative where old meets new and stillness converses with momentum.
