Entry Description

CurioCubo speculates concealed interiorities that exist within objects of containment. Historically, containers have functioned as protectors of precious and sacred objects, such as cabinets of curiosity and reliquaries. These containers are manifestations of exclusivity in that they hold secrets beyond the exterior surface. The interior, therefore, is only meant to be accessed by a select few by way of hidden compartments that require physical transformation. CurioCubo strives to break the notion of exclusivity as an object of containment that rests in an open, post-transformational state.
