Entry Description

This design envisions a reconfigurable, resilient, and re-constructable building system that empowers Palestinian communities to take ownership in shaping their educational and social environments. This system offers the autonomy to design and build spaces, fostering self-reliance and community strength. The modular panels are fabricated from locally-sourced materials, manageable by community members and students. When the school is forced to relocate, the modular nature of the design allows fast dissemble and reassemble. The transitional structure will be converted into permanent in future.
