The exhibition unveils the influences of Far Eastern and African art on the celebrated painter. Featuring 13 unique items from Klimt’s personal collection that shaped his iconic works.
The objects, borrowed from the Leopold Museum in Vienna, were displayed under meticulous conservation conditions in the grand Ceremonial Hall of the Sugar Palace.
The exhibition design harmonizes with the Palace genius loci. A central display case, encased in mirrors, creates endless visual dialogue between the objects, their reflections, and the viewers—symbolizing the perpetual influence of Klimt’s art.
