A house planned in a region known for manufacturing Shogi pieces, a traditional Japanese culture that has continued since the Heian period. The facade features a "three-layered armor wall" modeled after the armor of samurai and multiple areas of greenery, serving as a new response centered on regional characteristics against the industrial and dense urban landscape.
The growth of greenery over time and the natural deterioration of wood textures have been carefully considered to reflect the passage of time in the region, gradually blending into the landscape.
