In the process of urbanization in China for nearly 40 years, migrant workers are the significant enablers. However, migrant workers in cities are facing many challenges and still in a "semi-urban" state on the whole. In a cluster of migrant workers in a high-tech zone in Fuzhou, many grow vegetables on a large area of spare farmland nearby to support themselves or earn a small profit. The project aims to combine agricultural production activities with regional high-tech industries to provide an intelligent agricultural production mode, provide new opportunity for migrant workers at the site.
